Honoring Deceased Grandfather at wedding by using a poem? - poem for the deceased on a wedding day
I need help finding a poem about a grandfather died, and that have something to do with a marriage of love. My friend only living grandfather, who lived with and died 2 weeks before Christmas last year, were already engaged and had been for a year and a half, so we knew we would marry. But it is very difficult for us to do without him, and the plane in his honor by a lighted candle in front of the church, but also to set a poem to remember in the program! Someone please help!

He holds the sky Tou
by Tammy L. Magner
In this day of marriage
You look up
Is for all of us
Witness of our love
This day is very pleasant
Since the two said: "I want".
But something is really lacking
Without the presence and Warth
You
Across the sky keeps you
Pain in safety
Inside Your Soul
This is most welcome
The love that we won
I agree with the sentiments of the early poems ... but they are a little sad, and sad, like (no offense) for a wedding.
Do you know whether it is a favorite Bible verse or the author? Of course, you can honor (which I think is a very good idea), but still a happy love poem or a passage.
It also appears that the candles and flowers in front of your credit card or the placement of the photos at the reception, be sure to include some of him with his little son.
My cousin got married last year and candles on the altar of every grandfather and father, and then the reception desk, a table was filled with photos and candles around the picture
I did the same. In fact, a picture has been in the front of the church with pictures of PPL was found very important in my family died. There were candles and roses on the table. I also wrote a poem and framed and put their pictures. Try to be creative and write something too.
"Do not stand at my grave and weep"
Mary E. Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I'm not here, I do not sleep.
I am one thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle rain,
I am the fields of tire grain.
I am in the morning, silence,
I am in the graceful Careers
Beautiful birds circled flight,
Starshine, I am the night.
I am in the flowers, flowers,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I'm not there. Not die.
You can ask your officiant to make an opening, where people believe that someone who could not be there (or dead) .. If your'e interested, please send me a private message with your e-mail and I'll see if I fell on my team.
